Our Early Christmas Gift

John Henry Cannaday, aka Henry, arrived on December 9, 2008! He is an early Christmas gift for my family. Although I haven't met Henry yet, I am looking forward to meeting him just as soon as he is ready. Henry weighed four pounds, 14 ounces and he is 18 inches long. Henry is eating well and breathing on his own, which are two big accomplishments for a little guy born that early. I pray every night that Henry continues to grow like he should. After all, he's going to have to keep up with ME!
People say Henry looks like me already, but I can't tell. Newborns all look the same to me!

Mommy is so blessed to have another little guy to love!

Check out Daddy in his scrubs! He looks just like Grandpa Cannaday! I hear Daddy was great during Henry's birth. While the doctors were operating, Daddy was telling Mommy stories about my morning drop-off at school.

Mommy says that Henry's skin is so soft, just like mine. I can't wait to give him hugs and kisses.
